You've come to the right place.

A PLAY-LAB is recess for adults.

(Adults need recess too!)

We design highly interactive play experiences to keep your team feeling connected while working from home.

We tailor each PLAY-LAB to the needs, objectives, and personalities of the people on your team.

We bring a level of energy, expertise, and playful chemistry that our clients highly acclaim time and time again.

A delight to work with. Clear and confident. Brought energy and experimentation to our event with senior marketers. A natural team facilitator and asset!

Really enjoyed the hour with BTL - boost of energy, laughs and learned more about our team!

We were looking for a memorable and fun way to stay engaged beyond the typical online happy hour, especially something that could include the kids at home. That's exactly what BTL offered. It was wonderful to see everyone's big smiles, hear so much spontaneous creativity, and try something completely novel with our team.

Took the creativity and spontaneity of improv and used it to create a collaborative and comfortable space with a group of professionals who did not know each other. We traversed the room, laughed out loud, and really got to know each other. I would highly recommend for professional development workshops and conferences. I was really impressed.

Love your energy.......You really create a "safe space" for us to be ourselves, mistakes & all and that made me feel more open to participating... Thank you!

Your PLAY-LAB leaders

Reggie Harris, a veteran of the tech industry, has held key positions at prominent Silicon Valley companies including Google, Dropbox, and Zynga and has provided his skills for a number of non-profits. He has developed a way of communicating challenging and complex concepts in a way that's engaging, friendly, and easily comprehensible. At Better Together Labs, Reggie combines his deep knowledge of corporate and non-profit working environments along with unique insights into the nature of human behavior and interaction  to transform  stagnant  organizations  into  dynamic,  collaborative teams that are fun to work in. Reggie is an honors graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Computer Science and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Chinese language and culture. He is also an avid improvisor and his work is heavily influenced by the philosophies and methodologies of improvisation.

Mallory Penney has a passion for organizational and leadership development through the lens of applied improvisation. She works with teams to help them find ways to work, create, and communicate better together using the tools of improv to strengthen their ability to listen clearly, embrace risk-taking, stay agile, and develop resilience in the face of adversity. Mallory works with leaders to identify their strengths in order to better understand their specific leadership profile. Instead of insisting that leaders fit into a cookie-cutter and stereotypical style of leadership, she provides them tools that lean  into and augment their specific leadership style, making them more authentic and effective leaders in their organizations. She has lent her skills to organizations as diverse as the American Marketing Association, Genentech, and California State University. Mallory is a member of the Applied Improvisation Network and holds a B.A. in Theater and Performance Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
